Queensland Hoop Pine
Strong and durable, hoop pine is native to southeast Queensland. It’s one of the few Australian native timber species grown in sustainably managed forests. Its natural grain gives each ZeroTag its own character.
Sustainability
Thoughtful materials, local finishing and an object you can keep using as your work changes. That’s how we put our purpose into practice.
It starts with a native timber. Get a closer look at the material behind your ZeroTag.
The materials
Strong and durable, hoop pine is native to southeast Queensland. It’s one of the few Australian native timber species grown in sustainably managed forests. Its natural grain gives each ZeroTag its own character.
Cork is harvested by hand from the bark of the cork oak tree. Soft and durable, it makes a comfortable backing for our ZeroKeyring. Portugal produces around half of the world’s cork.
Pressed from the seeds of the tung tree, tung oil has been used by woodworkers for centuries. Our finish is bottled in Western Australia, is low in volatile organic compounds, and brings out the character of the timber.
Our plywood is made with low-emission adhesives for crisp cuts and clean assemblies. We customise and finish your ZeroTag locally, keeping your artwork and the finished object close to the people making it.
Reuse, by design
